Challenges

Our biggest challenge was reaching the right audience. Since the products were high-value and catered to a specific niche, finding and connecting with the right consumers was tough. Our initial search campaigns didn’t perform as expected, so we had to rethink our strategy. We needed to carefully plan and execute campaigns that would target the right audience and showcase our premium scissors to people most likely to buy them.

Primary Objective: Our main goal was to boost conversions and the return on ad spend (ROAS) from our campaign, while also keeping costs under control.

Secondary Objective: Reduce the Cost per Acquisition(CPA).

Approach

We decided to try Google’s Performance Max (pMax) campaigns, which use Machine Learning to run ads
across multiple Google platforms. This automated approach helped us target the right audience more
effectively. To make the most of the campaign, we created a mix of creative assets like text, images, and videos to appeal to different audience segments and ensure the campaign could scale effectively.
